Christian Friends of Korea has been helping ordinary people affected by flooding, disease, malnutrition, and ongoing challenges in North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea or DPRK) since 1995.

조선의 그리스도인 벗들은 1995년부터 북한(조선민주주의인민공화국)의 홍수, 질병, 영양실조 및 지속적인 어려움들로 피해를 입은 일반 주민들을 돕고 있습니다.

We work with many different individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses to send life-giving support to TB, hepatitis, and pediatric care centers located throughout North and South Hwanghae Provinces, Kaesong, and Pyongyang. Through the generosity of our donors and partners, we have sent and confirmed over $98 million worth of goods to desperate segments of the population.

We engage in technical projects such as: solar-gravity water system installations, renovations of care centers, and hepatitis treatment clinics that bring lasting change to many communities and individual lives. In all that we do, we strive to build trust and relationships with the people while honoring the name of Jesus Christ.

저희는 황해남북도, 개성, 평양에 위치한 결핵, 간염, 소아과 요양소들에 생명을 살리는 지원을 하기 위해 다양한 개인, 교회, 단체, 기업들과 함께 노력하고 있습니다. 후원자분들과 파트너분들의 기부를 통해 저희는 절망적인 상황에 처한 이들에게 9천 8백만 달러 이상의 물자를 보내고 이를 확인하였습니다.  

저희는 많은 지역사회와 개인의 삶에 지속적인 변화를 가져오는 태양열/중력 수도 시스템 설치, 요양소 개조, 간염 치료 클리닉과 같은 기술 프로젝트들을 수행하고 있습니다. 저희가 하는 모든 일에서 저희는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 영광을 돌리며 북한 주민들과의 신뢰와 관계를 구축하기 위해 노력합니다.

Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by ministering to the 25 million people of North Korea through humanitarian and developmental aid, technical projects and exchanges, and confirmation visits.

저희의 사명은 인도주의적 및 개발적 지원, 기술 프로젝트와 교류, 그리고 확인 방문을 통해 북한의 2,500만 주민들을 섬김으로써 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 것입니다.

our work

Our organization provides ongoing support to more than 35 care centers including the National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory (NRL), 7 provincial tuberculosis (TB) and hepatitis hospitals, and nearly 18 TB and hepatitis rest homes located throughout the geographical region—many of them in remote locations.

We regularly assist our supported TB and hepatitis care centers by providing developmental assistance; confirming the arrival, distribution, and use of goods we send; and assessing current needs. Most of our aid is targeted to respond to the medical needs of patients. Our aid includes: food and medicine; medical equipment and supplies; agricultural support (tractors, greenhouses, seeds, etc.); bedding and blankets; and clean water. We are also involved in the renovation of multiple health care facilities, solar powered water and lighting projects, water well drilling, greenhouse construction, medical staff training, and so forth.

CFK seeks to be responsive to the needs expressed and observed by others. While the need is extensive, we are grateful for the resources and the opportunity to respond.

저희 기관은 국립 결핵 표준 연구소(NRL), 7개 지방 결핵 및 간염 병원을 포함한 35개 이상의 관리 센터들과 지역 전역에 위치한 18개에 이르는 결핵 및 간염 요양소들 (대부분 오지에 위치한)에 지속적인 후원을 제공하고 있습니다.

저희는 정기적으로 결핵 및 간염 관리 센터에 개발 지원을 제공하고, 보낸 물품의 도착, 분배 및 사용을 확인하고 현재 필요한 사항들을 평가함으로써 후원을 지원하고 있습니다. 저희 후원의 대부분은 환자들의 의학적 필요에 대응하기 위한 것입니다. 저희의 지원에는 식량 및 의약품, 의료 장비 및 물자들, 농업 지원(트랙터, 온실, 씨앗등), 침구 및 담요, 깨끗한 물의 지원을 포함하고 있습니다. 저희는 또한 여러 의료시설의 보수, 태양열 발전 수도 및 조명 프로젝트, 우물 굴착, 온실 시공, 의료진 교육등에 참여하고 있습니다.

CFK는 다른 이들이 표현하고 관찰하는 필요들에 대응하고자 합니다. 도움이 필요한 것들은 광범위하지만, 저희는 도울 수 있는 자원과 기회가 있다는 것에 감사합니다.
