"Follow me"

People often ask why we do this work, especially in regards to the politics, security, and diplomatic tensions in and around North Korea. Our response is simple: as followers of Jesus, we are compelled by grace and motivated by love to obey His command to feed the hungry and heal the sick (Matthew 25:31-46). We have a unique opportunity to act upon our calling by ministering to those suffering in the DPRK.

We will continue in these efforts, as long as we are able to effectively and legally respond to those needs with compassion, integrity, accountability, and transparency. Time after time, we see real change in the hearts and minds as love, truth, patience, selflessness, wisdom, and compassion are shared. We ask you to partner with us as we seek to serve our Savior and follow His great example in meeting the needs of our brothers and sisters in North Korea. If we do not answer the call, who will?

“나를 따라오라”

사람들은 특히 북한 안팎의 정치, 안보, 외교적 긴장과 관련하여 우리가 왜 이 일을 하는지종종 묻습니다. 우리의 대답은 간단합니다. 예수님을 따르는 자들로서 우리는 은혜에 의해 강권되고 사랑에 의해 동기부여되어 배고픈 사람들을 먹이고 병든 사람들을 낫게 하라는 그분의 명령에 순종하게 됩니다(마태복음 25:31-46). 우리는 북한에서 고통받는 이들을 섬기면서 우리의 소명에 따라 반응할 수 있는 특별한 기회를 가지고 있습니다.

저희는 그들의 필요에 효과적이고 합법적으로 대응할 수 있는 한 그들을 향한 연민, 정직성, 책임 및 투명성을 가지고 이러한 노력을 계속할 것입니다. 시간이 흐르면서 저희는 사랑, 진실, 인내, 이타성, 지혜, 연민이 공유되면서 마음과 마음이 진정으로 변하는 것을 봅니다. 우리가 우리의 구세주를 섬기고 북한에 있는 우리의 형제 자매의 필요를 채우는 데에 있어 그분의 위대한 본보기를 따를 때 저희는 여러분께서 함께 저희의 파트너가 되어 주시기를 요청드립니다. 만약 우리가 그의 부르심에 답하지 않는다면 누가 답하겠습니까?
